BEYOND THE MIRROR OF THE FIRST QUARTER
The topics covered in the first quarter have given me the opportunity to increase my knowledge in many areas. I discovered that the internet has a significant impact on our lives. The Internet has turned our world completely upside down. It has transformed communications to the point where it is now our preferred medium of daily communication. People, businesses, and institutions are feeling the impact of technological change, but the transformation's speed and scope have sparked a slew of idealistic and novel perceptions that, when examined closely through detailed and thorough past studies, turn out to be false. Prior to the Internet, if you wanted to stay up to date on the news, you had to go to a shop or newsstand and buy a local edition paper and read about what had happened the day before. Today, however, a single click is all that is required to read your local press as well as any news source from anywhere in the world that is up to date.
Knowing the history of the internet is very useful to me, but remembering the names of every internet architect, engineer, and pioneer is difficult. They were numerous, and I struggled greatly. Every time we have a quiz, I get nervous because there are so many terms to memorize and descriptions to become acquainted with. I also had difficulty focusing on our lectures, and my motivation and interest waned. I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but motivation and interest are the most important factors for me. So, regardless, I'm making an effort to make my lessons somewhat interesting and motivating myself in any way I can. There are a lot of challenges, and it differs for everyone.
My experience taught me that it is critical for me to manage my time wisely as a student. It is essential to understand how to multitask because we do not always have enough time to complete tasks before deadlines. I'm so glad I didn't miss a lecture this quarter because I saw my classmates struggling to understand the lessons they missed because they were absent due to sickness. Rest is also important; we need to recharge our batteries so that we can perform at our best throughout the day. Rest and relaxation are natural parts of the workday, and taking advantage of them whenever possible will boost our productivity. Excessive stress and activity can often detach us from our creative potential.
Moving on; hopefully, my performance will improve over the entire school year . My mistakes taught me to improve and grow as a student for the better.
Improving is one of the best ways to prevail over your flaws. Do your best to be a preeminent student full of passion.
